My Mind Seeps, graduate short film
My Mind Seeps is an exploration of the mind on trauma. We venture into the ambiguity of what is real and what is not and the blurred sense of reality when it comes to identifying repressed trauma.
Hypo-Sexuality vs. Hyper-Sexuality
This animation is a brief explainer video of hyper-sexuality and hypo-sexuality brought on, specifically, by sexual assault.  Gender-based violence is an issue I am passionate about.  With it being a growing epidemic in South Africa, I believe that it is pivotal to raise awareness.  In a country where medical, psychological and legal resources are scarce, and often inaccessible, survivors are not granted the right to supported and sufficient healing and treatment.  I made this animation for survivors who have developed hyper-sexuality or hyper-sexuality in attempt to help them understand their symptoms and to, hopefully help them find ways of healing from their trauma.
I'm Not Here
"I'm Not Here" is a three-panel animation using three different methods of animating.  The first panel was drawn, frame-by-frame in TVPaint, the second panel was drawn with charcoal on paper and photographed for each frame, using a stop-motion approach.  Finally, the third panel is a 2D animation, made in AfterEffects.  This work is a metaphorical piece inspired by an amalgamation of different aspects being: the need to disappear, insomnia, anxiety, finding one's peaceful place as well as, the music from King Krule and Archy Marshall.   This is a collaborative artwork with Jandre Van Heerden who did the sound.

Above & Below is an animated shortfilm that I completed in my second year of university in 2019. I wrote, illustrated and animated this piece over the course of the semester. The objective was to design characters and backgrounds and then animate a story using the technical skills we had acquired over the past year in the softwares: Adobe After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop. I created Above & Below as a tribute to a very special foster dog that found its way to me at a low point in my life, the bond we shared and his sorrowful passing.
Haiku Animations
For this brief, I selected three haikus of which to create a thirty second animation for each haiku.  I chose haikus that created a visual image and included elements such as rain, the moon, wind and water.  The haikus I chose were originally inJapanese, therefore, I wanted to maintain the Japanese feel and aesthetic in all of my animations.
